Flip Flop Blocks with Cam Cleat

Flip flop blocks are designed to pivot around a central fixing point, this keeps the rope close to the deck, mast or boom whilst still allowing the block to articulate to the correct lead angle, ensuring friction stays as low as possible whilst still guiding the rope to where it needs to go.

  • Features a laser-cut stainless-steel body and backing plate, guaranteeing each one is finished to the exact same measurements and quality finish.
  • Allows for maximum strength in the smallest form possible.
  • We offer a range of 20, 30 and 40mm sheave sizes and with aluminium or Allenite cam cleats.

Relocatable Sheave

  • Features two locations to install the dynamic sheave.
  • Simply undo and remove the bolt holding the sheave in place and relocate it in either fixing hole on the main body.
  • Allow the block to be installed and used in a wider range of applications.

Dynamic Bearings

  • Features Allen dynamic ball bearing technology.
  • Uses twin rows of stainless-steel ball bearings running on a stainless-steel rail.
  • Provides a superior load-carrying ability and longevity when compared to other bearing systems which run on a plastic rail.
  • Ideal for dinghy and keelboat control lines as well as pump-action spinnaker systems.

  • A clevis pin holds the main flip flop body to the backing plate. This clevis pin is the central flip flop /pivot point for the block. Removing the clevis pin will part the body and backing plate, allowing for easy access to the backing plate as well as giving the option to install the body either way up.

Aluminium Ball bearing cam cleat

  • The jaw profile is optimised for rope entry and exit
  • Reduces wear on the rope.
  • Ball bearings and double coil springs give a super smooth cam action
  • Allowes for a consistent feel every time the rope is cleated.

Allenite cam cleat.

  • Allenite is a material developed by Allen specifically for low weight and good heat dissipation
  • Increase wear resistance over standard acetals.
  • Offers a good weight saving over the aluminium version.
  • Ideal for lower loading halyards, pole launchers and jib sheets. Higher loading applications should use the A2123-77.

Ideal for use on many different classes of boats and in a wide range of applications:

  • Upgrade to J70 spinnaker halyard cleat.
  • F18, Nacra 17 – spinnaker halyard cleat
  • Small keelboat pole launcher system.
  • Dinghy and small keelboat spinnaker or jib sheet turning point.
  • Dinghy jib sheet cleat.
  • Keelboat outhaul cleat.
  • Keelboat backstay system.
