Swiftfurl Continuous Line Furler

Description

The SwiftFurl continuous line furler is the ideal solution for high-performance dinghies, catamarans and trimarans needing to quickly and easily furl a jib/gennaker.

  • Features five rows of torlon ball bearings to allow the unit to spin frictionlessly, even when under load.
  • Designed to be used with a continuous spliced line. This allows the drum to continue spinning until the jib/ gennaker is completely furled.
  • Any size sail can be used.
  • The drum has ability to spin in either direction.
  • The bottom attachment fork terminal can be fixed in 90-degree orientations, giving a wider range of attachment options to the hull of a boat.

The furling sheave is drilled with line-gripping holes. These holes grip the furling line securely as well as offer a weight reduction. Also featured is a small notch in the edge of the top sheave, this notch allows easy installation of a continuous line. So, the unit can be removed/ installed without the need to re-splice the furling line.

Associated Products:

  • We recommend you pair the SwiftFirl with the A4302 high-load top furler for a complete system.
  • You will also need a length of rope which can be spliced for a continuous control line, we stock a small selection of suitable rope – Check it out.
  • Designed for use on dingies and keelboats up to 20ft / 6 meters.
